Protection you can feel. Trust you can see.

How a single strategic bet turned into a partnership that rebuilt a company from the outside in.

Industrial safety is one of the most consequential categories in the world. It is also one of the most creatively inert. The companies protecting workers at Shell, Google, Chevron, and Walmart typically design like it is still 1997. Dated brands. Product-first marketing. A visual language built for compliance, not confidence.

IRISS was different in one important way: they knew it.

Their technology was proven. Their growth was real. But their brand was disappearing into a category full of noise that all sounded the same. The CEO had a clear mandate: build a brand that stands next to any tech company in the world. Not despite being an industrial safety company. Because of it.

That conversation started eighteen months ago. We are still their design partner today.

What we built together
  • • Creative direction
  • • Brand Strategy & Narratives
  • • Visual language
  • • Advertising & Marketing
  • • Sales materials
  • • Web Site RE-design

Brand strategy

Strategy before anything else.

Before we touched a logo or a layout, we needed to understand what IRISS was actually selling. Not products. Not compliance. Not specs.

What IRISS sells is confidence. The confidence of a facility manager who knows the job is done right. The confidence of a technician who trusts the equipment protecting them. The confidence of an enterprise buyer who needs to know their partner is serious.

We built the brand strategy around that truth. The platform: Humanizing Safety. Not as a tagline. As a business position. A commitment to putting the human reality of safety at the center of everything IRISS does and says and shows.

That strategy became the filter for every decision that followed.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

Built to compete. Built to last.

Most safety brands sell fear or compliance. We repositioned IRISS to sell something more durable: trust..

We refined the logo. Rebuilt the type and color system. Created a design architecture that connects the master brand to every product line without losing coherence. Then we designed a custom typeface for high-impact moments — logotypes, product marks, standout headlines. Geometric, precise, with enough personality to feel considered..

We also made a deliberate strategic choice about imagery. Safety brands show products. IRISS now shows people. The technicians, engineers, and facility teams whose daily work depends on equipment performing exactly as it should. That shift is not a styling decision. It is an argument. It says IRISS understands what is actually at stake..

We built an entirely new image library to make that argument visible.

We designed a custom typeface for high-impact moments: logotypes, product marks, standout headlines. Geometric, precise, with enough personality to feel considered. It is not a body copy font. It is a brand signal. When IRISS needs to own a space, this is what that looks like.

In an Industry of products, we made it personal.

Safety brands show products. IRISS now shows people. The technicians, engineers, and facility teams whose daily reality depends on equipment working the way it is supposed to. That shift is not a styling choice. It is a strategic one. In a category where data sheets and spec grids pass for marketing, showing a real face is a differentiation. It signals that IRISS understands what is actually at stake. Not compliance. Not liability. People going home at the end of their shift.

HOW IT GREW

A project became a partnership.

The brand work launched. The response was immediate. And then something happened that does not always happen: the client saw what was possible and leaned in further..

Over eighteen months, the engagement expanded into nearly every corner of the business..

We redesigned the IRISS website from the ground up, building a digital experience that matches the ambition of the brand. We took over their social media, creating a consistent, purposeful presence in a category where most companies post product photos and call it marketing. We branded their product line, bringing the new identity into the physical objects IRISS makes and ships. We designed the materials for their distributor conference. We advised on and designed the interior of their new office in India, including the full wall graphics for the space and the design of the opening itself..

No project management layer. No handoffs. One studio, one vision, across every touchpoint.

THE PROOF

Eighteen months. Still retained. Growing faster than we can say.

We cannot publish the numbers. What we can say is that IRISS's business is growing at a rate that has made the entire category take notice and start chasing.

The more telling proof is simpler: they keep expanding the work.

When a client who started with a brand strategy ends up trusting you with their office walls in another country, something has gone right. Not just in the deliverables. In the relationship. In the belief that design is not a cost. It is a competitive advantage.

IRISS believed that before we showed up. We gave them the tools to prove it.

We don't take every project. Not because we're precious about it. Because the work is better when both sides actually want to be in the room. If you've got a real problem, a real timeline, and the appetite to hear what we actually think, start here.
