Creating a new holiday campaign to focus on an overlooked but key brand differentiator, drive social media buzz, and do it all on a tight budget.

For this campaign we were asked to concept and create a viral holiday campaign that would focus on the brand's innovative sonic enhancement technology called Black Noise. It had been a key but overlooked differentiator for the brand. We create "Sounds Like The Holidays" which gave us a platform to look at some of the funnier moments of the holidays while also tying it to Black Noise.

Advertising

The advertising campaign used strong imagery and funny headlines to pull in consumers, pushing them to a landing page where they could share their own stories, learn more about eh brand, and purchase bottles for their holiday celebrations.

Customers were taken to an interactive landing page where they could explore our holiday gift guide, get holiday cocktail recipes, share their content, buy Blackened, and more.

Social media activation

The campaign encouraged customers to share their funny holiday moments, Blackened collections, and favorite cocktails for the holiday season.

AI image creation

As with every major Blackened release we were tasked with coming up with new merchandise ideas that will be sold on Metallica.com and used as promotional materials when the band is on tour.

Because of the tight budget, we worked with the client to be able to shoot the four new cocktails in our studio, and worked on the background and garnishes using AI to get the perfect shits for the campaign.
